Serving as a Teaching & Learning Strategist with the new Libraries, INstruction, Knowledge, Technology (LINKT) who assists the UB community and beyond to effectively use emerging technologies to support teaching, learning, and research.
She is also the Director of the SUNY Exploring Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Success (#EmTech). #EmTechMOOC is an open-access resource that is targeted to the lifelong learning needs of students, faculty, staff, and anyone from across the globe who has the desire to keep pace with technology change.
Her research includes investigating innovative digital pedagogy to assist students, faculty, and other stakeholders in exploring established and emerging technologies. Her research also includes the examination of how and why people learn.
As a recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service. She has been recognized through a SUNY Faculty Advisory Council on Teaching and Technology (FACT2) Excellence in Instructional Support award for her work on the Tools of Engagement Project (TOEP) and she is a recipient of three SUNY Effective Practice Awards.
