Sarunas Milisauskas

Sarunas Milisauskas joined the faculty of the University at Buffalo Department of Anthropology in 1970.  He earned a B.A. in anthropology from Ohio State University (1962) and both an M.A. (1965) and Ph.D. (1970) in anthropology from the University of Michigan.  Milisauskas was promoted to associate professor in 1975 and full professor in 1982.  He served on many departmental committees and in 1992 became chair of the department.  Milisauskas retired from UB in 2020.
