William R. Kinkel

William R. Kinkel was born in Buffalo in 1927.  He earned a BA from Harvard University (1950) and an M.D. from the University at Buffalo (1954).  Kinkel was the first neurology resident trained at UB.  In 1963, he founded the Dent Clinic (later the Dent Neurologic Institute) at Millard Fillmore Hospital and served as its director until 2003.
