Edward I. Yadzinski

Death: 2020

Edward I. Yadzinski was born in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania.  In 1963, he graduated from the Eastman School of Music and joined the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO), playing the bass clarinet and saxophone.  Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Yadzinski often played in Evenings for New Music performances at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.  Later in his career, he wrote program notes for the BPO which included historical information about the piece and composer, and Yadzinski's commentary.  Yadzinski later became the historian of the BPO and in 2001, he helped create a website of the orchestra's history.
