Lawrence Jr. Southwick
Death: 2024Lawrence Southwick Jr. joined the faculty of the University at Buffalo School of Management in 1966. He earned a B.S. in mathematics from Case Institute of Technology (1960), and M.B.A. from Western Michigan University (1963), and both an M.S. in Industrial Management (1965) and Ph.D. in Economics (1967) from Carnegie Institute of Technology. Southwick served as the chair of the Department of Environmental Analysis and Policy (1976-1981) and chair of the Department of Finance and Managerial Economics (1991-1994). He retired from UB in 2003.
