Nagesh S. Revankar

Nagesh S. Revankar joined the faculty of the University at Buffalo's Department of Economics in 1967.  He earned a BA in Mathematics (1958) and an MA in statistics (1960) from the University of Poona, India, and an MA economics (1965) and a Ph.D. (1967) from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.  In 1984, Revankar was appointed the chair of the Department on Economics.  After more than 50 years at UB, he retired in 2020.
