Jennifer A. McDonough
Jennifer McDonough, Vice President for University Advancement, has been at UB for three years. She was appointed then-titled post of Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations in 2001 after doing similar work for the University of Vermont. McDonough was chosen for the post because of her expertise in development and implementing development and alumni relations strategies with the hopes that she would continue to strengthen UB's development program.
The Office of the Vice President for University Advancement concerns itself with both alumni relations and development. Its mission is to: "advance the mission of the University at Buffalo by encouraging partnerships and by providing opportunities for meaningful and enduring engagement among the University's communities, both external and internal, through alumni outreach, communication and fostering philanthropic investment."
A Buffalo native, McDonough earned both her bachelor's and her master's in Arts Management from Buffalo State College. Her previous work in development, arts management, and alumni relations took her to Indiana, Minnesota, and Massachusetts before she returned to Buffalo in 2001.
