Robert T. Marlett
Born: 1934Robert Marlett began his career with the University at Buffalo in 1960. During his tenure at UB, Marlett held a number of positions including Director of University Relations, Director of University Public Services, Editor-in-Chief of the Reporter and Executive Editor of University Publications. In 1970, Marlett launched the UB newspaper the Reporter as a means of communicating University at Buffalo news that would be credible and readable. The Reporter continues on to this day in the form of the online publication UB Now. Robert Marlett retired from UB in 1989.
