David Mark

Death: 2022

David M. Mark joined the faculty of University at Buffalo's Department of Geography in 1981.  Born in British Columbia, Canada, he earned a BA from Simon Fraser University (1970), an MA from the University of British Columbia (1974) and a Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University (1977), all in geography.  Mark served as the director of the UB site of the National Center for Geographic Information Analysis and he helped found the University Consortium for Geographic Information Science.
