Robert G. HoeingBorn: 1955
Robert Hoeing joined the faculty of the University at Buffalo's Department of Modern Languages and Literatures in 1987. He earned a B.A. from the University of Missouri (1978) an both an M.A. (1980) and Ph.D. (1987) from the University of Illinois. Prior to coming to UB, Hoeing was an associate instructor of German at the University of Illinois from 1978-1987.
In the mid-1990s, Robert Hoeing began working in UB's Department of Linguistics where he also served as director of undergraduate studies. He was a member of the UB Faculty Senate and served as its chair (2007-2011) and secretary (1996-1998, 2006-2007.
