Shirley B. Hesslein

Shirley B. Hesslein began her career at the University at Buffalo in 1969 when she was hired by the University Libraries as a reference librarian in the Health Sciences Library. From 1971-1981 Hesslein was associate director. In 1981, she was named director of the Lockwood Memorial Library on the South Campus, a position she held until her retirement in 1984.
