Abstract: Photographs of Steven B. Sample as University at Buffalo President, showing Sample at university events. Sample was President from 1982-1991. Photos include University commencements, dinners, building dedications, meetings, homecomings, local politicians and notables, sports, visitors, speakers, delegations, and other events. This a corollary collection to 4/12/969, Steven B. Sample photographs, Part I, which contains the vast majority of photos from Sample’s presidency with enhanced description of images. It is likely that this collection (4/12/1275) duplicates 4/12/969, at least in part.
Photographs are primarily 3 x 5 in. color prints, with some 4 x 6 and 5 x 7 enlargements.
Box 1, 1981-1989; includes Fisher Price, Service awards, Incubator, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Bruno Freschi reception, Carl Sagan, and Spanish delegation.
Box 2, 1989-1991; includes Service awards, Council black tie event, and English tea.
Box 3, undated; includes Singapore trip and unidentified events.
