Abstract: The Herman Schwartz papers, 1951-1978, includes course materials, copies of exams, assignments, readings, publications, personal and professional correspondence, unpublished papers, seminar notes, and rough drafts. Materials from 4 criminal cases where the matter in question was researched, an interview was held with the potential client and the matter was then accepted by Schwartz. The collection also contains research into criminal, business, and regulatory law, motions, briefs, some court opinions, news clippings, personal notes, and testimony from federal investigations related to business and government regulations.
